Development of a methodology for predicting landslide hazards at a regional scale

چکیده
Abstract Landslide risk analysis is a common geotechnical evaluation and it aims to protect life infrastructure. In the case of sensitive clay zones, landslides can affect large areas are difficult predict. Here we propose methodology determine landslide hazard across territory, apply our approach Saint-Jean-Vianney area, Quebec, Canada. The initial step consists creating 3D model surficial deposits target area. After chart material electrical resistivity adapted for eastern Canada, applied electric induction interpret regional soil. We transposed parameter values obtained from laboratory larger scale, that slope using results back undertaken earlier, on smaller slide within same then used develop zonation map slopes at their respective constraint with study region. This allowed us specific where more precise stability would be required. Our offers an effective tool in territories characterized by presence clays.
